On September 4, I filmed this wedding ceremony on top of Monte Sano Mountain. It was a fantastic setting for an outdoor wedding!
When I talk with brides, there are a lot of reasons why I recommend having a wedding video. After this wedding a few weeks ago, I have another reason: “In case the photographers pictures get stolen.”
Indeed the unthinkable happened at this wedding. During the after ceremony shots, before the reception, the photographers bag was stolen from the lodge! Nearly all the pictures from the day were gone in a flash! The Lodge on the mountain was right next to a state park, so it is hypothesized that thieves were in the parking lot next door waiting for an opportunity to strike, because the lodge is in easy eyesight of the park.
Fortunately, Mike and Whitney had opted to have a video of their ceremony. It really hits home, that hiring a professional videographer to cover your pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception is an invaluable investment!
