Chana & Cedric - Wedding
It’s been a while since we’ve covered a micro wedding here, so when Chana reached out to me online about covering her wedding that was taking place in Moulton at her mom’s property, it all sounded pretty good to me. We did both photo and video (documentary long form) for them and it was a fun time for sure!
This was a very special day, as her mom did nearly all the decorating and made pretty much everything used for the wedding by hand. Really awesome stuff!
Beautiful ceremony, which was thankfully shaded by ceremony time at 4 PM!
Easy going reception with just a first dance as the only activity. It got dark really quick but the BBQ and food were cooked on site and delicious!
Creatives Part 1 - We did have some time on the wedding day to do a few shots as the sun set.
Creatives Part 2 - Since this was a micro wedding and I was only on site for 3 hours, creatives were rushed quite a bit, so they booked an after session and we went to downtown Decatur a few weeks later to do some more things! After shoots are a great way to go if you’re wedding day is short or runs late.
