Should I get my dog a Santa Claus costume from Amazon?

Back in November 2021, I had seen some posts about Christmas costumes for pets and I had wondered how they would be if purchased from Amazon. So for the 2021 Christmas season I got Marliegh, our yellow lab, a Santa Claus Dog Costume off Amazon. You can see a screen shot of the one I bought below. SIZING
Whenever I buy clothes or anything like that online, I always wonder about the sizes. Fortunately, the Kyervis Santa Claus dog costume has a sizing chart, that now in retrospect seems accurate.
PACKING/QUALITY
The Santa Claus dog costume came packed with a couple other items I had gotten for Christmas. It was just wrapped in standard plastic wrap, nothing special. Upon taking it out of the wrap, it seemed pretty well constructed and has adjustable velcro straps to accommodate dogs of different sizes. Even with the XXL size, the hoodie didn’t fit correctly on Marleigh, but it is still a super cute costume and she enjoyed wearing it around the house and outside. Given the high quality of the stitching, I imagine this will last for several years if stored properly and will bring everyone much enjoyment in the future. The detail on Santa is pretty impressive!
PUTTING IT ON YOUR DOG
Putting the Kyerivs Santa Claus dog costume on your dog is pretty straightforward. Simply undo the 2 velcro straps and fit one around the dogs neck and the other around the waist. Tighten to a snug fit. It did take me a couple tries to get the Santa part to stay on top and not slide down to Marleigh’s side. Overall it fit Marleigh pretty well and she wore it almost all day.
CONCLUSION
